Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is essential for the national economy Indonesia. Trusmi Batik is one example of successful SMEs to stimulate the local economy while creating products that are competitive in the national and international levels. The aim of this paper is to identify the factors that cause, as well as barriers to running business Trusmi Batik. This study also want to know the anticipation of future events made by employers Batik Trusmi in creating customer value. The study uses a qualitative approach to understand the problems that occur in Trusmi Batik enterprises. The results showed that there is great potential for running business Trusmi Batik, such as Batik Trusmi is a product of culture, business rooted for generations, entrepreneurs have tacit knowledge, availability of infrastructure, and open markets both domestically and internationally. The constraint is the lack of government support, some of the business was still running on their own, as well as lack of promotion. In addition, there is need extra effort made by a batik entrepreneur Trusmi in marketing and in anticipation of future competition.
